It is no secret that we need Good News to make our day and to have hope. Several customers at an AppleBees in Washington, Pennsylvania, had a pleasant surprise when their checks came. A mystery couple picked up the tab on their checks and asked to remain anonymous. This is so exciting to share that there are Good Samaritans out there today. This mystery couple has been doing this for awhile and has remained anonymous because they wanted to do something nice. It makes you want to cry tears of joy that there are people in the community, lending a helping hand to others, without seeking the limelight.
Reporter Brenda Waters, of KDKA a CBS affiliate in Washington, Pennsylvania did a feature segment on this Pay it Forward story. It is nice to see positive news like this in this day and age. The Applebees manager, Bernie Lewis is keeping her promise and not giving the name of the Good Samaritan.
This initially came to light when Jolie Welling shared this on FaceBook and thanked the unknown couple. Reporter Brenda Waters did a fantastic job in highlighting how this random act of kindness has helped so many lives. Although the mystery couple remains unknown, their ransom acts of kindness is now known across the country.
Thanks to this article, I feel inspired to do something special for someone today. I hope the same goes for many others.
