I don’t know if you are familiar with Shine Book Book Club from Yahoo. If not, consider yourself advised, you should definitely check this out. It is a culmination of all things books from varied sources around the web.
They do a great job of bringing everything in and keeping it at your fingertips.
Today I came across a great article 5 Great Apps for Readers by from Good Housekeeping in the Shine Book Club. If you are a fanatic about Readers, this is a must read review of a few super cool apps.
Here is the list:
1. Book Crawler (Apple iOS, $1.99) – This app’s core function is to serve as a personal librarian, organizing and sorting titles for you.
2. Goodreads (Android and Apple iOS, free) – This app that will scan books into a digital library and provide excellent reviews and ratings. Goodreads is a must-have app, if you love to discuss and write about books.
3. Audiobooks (Android and Apple iOS, free) – The Audiobooks app gives you access to 4,382 works of literature on tape. Awesome resource for some of the greatest books written that are in the public domain.
4. American Heritage Dictionary (Android and Apple iOS, $24.99) – Personally, I am on the fence about this one. Huge price tag. I am sure that it has some merits, but also sure that you can find a cheaper alternative, say Wikepedia (This is my Goto Source for everything, since it always has the most updated information on just about anything important.) This is just my opinion… I am sure that the American Heritage Dictionary is a great resource.
5. Bluefire Reader (Android and Apple iOS, free) – Bluefire Reader is a third party e-reader that gives you access to “Adobe DRM-protected eBooks,” which means that you can check out e-books from the public library where you have a membership.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
